From Hide to Handcrafted: How Our Leather Goods Are Made

Posted by Rekha Baitharu on

Every product we make begins with a single hide, selected for its quality, texture, and character. Our commitment to craftsmanship starts with sourcing full-grain leather—the strongest and most natural cut. After careful inspection, the hide is cut by hand, not machines, to preserve the grain and shape of the leather. From there, the edges are beveled, burnished, and prepared for stitching. Our artisans use traditional saddle-stitching methods that are stronger than machine stitching, ensuring each piece lasts for years, if not decades. We believe in quality over quantity, which is why every detail—thread tension, hardware setting, and finish—is inspected before the product leaves our workshop. Unlike mass-produced goods, handmade leather items carry human touch in every curve and stitch. This process takes time, but it’s what gives our products their lasting strength, beauty, and soul.
