The cover flap is secured with real buckles and the top is reinforced to be carried by the handle like a briefcase as well as over the shoulder like a messenger bag. It offers a total of 6 pockets... a large center pocket for storing a laptop, a secondary inner pocket for paperwork or portfolio, two smaller inner pockets sewn into the front lining of the bag, a zippered pocket on the front, and a large storage pocket on the back side running the width of the bag.
